STRANDINGS
seal release   seal coming out of carrer  seal coming out of carrer
This is a typical seal release. The animals are captured, weighed and placed in carriers for a 45 minute ride to our release area. After arrival to the site, the animals are lined up in their carriers on the beach facing the water. The doors of the carriers are open one at a time, and each animal leaves at its own accord. This particular transport was conducted by MMSC Director Bob Schoelkopf and MMSC Volunteer Justin Grahsler
